Just had a lovely stay at Rivendell! Breakfasts were spot on, hearty, and kept me fueled for the day. Jo, the host, impressed me with her warmth and attention. The place was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and very well-kept. I loved the breakfast menu approach — it made it stress-free to choose what I wanted ahead of time. The location was great, just a 10-minute walk from the town centre, making it easy to explore. Got lucky with finding street parking just outside. I did have a little trouble with room access due to narrow stairs, but once in my room, it was comfortable and well-equipped. A slight downside was the limited parking, as spaces were hard to come by during busy times. overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend staying here.

I had a small but comfortable single room with a king single bed. It was cleaned daily during my 4-night stay, which felt great after hiking. Jo was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was fabulous with fresh fruit salad. Perfect location near the center and quiet too. 🌟
